Welcome to Stanborough Farm Bed and Breakfast.

Stanborough Farm is a working dairy farm set deep in the beautiful South Hams countryside 6 miles from Totnes, Dartmouth & Kingsbridge and just a little further from Salcombe.

We are ideally located for visiting Dartmoor, South Devon beaches, gardens, Plymouth, Exeter & Torbay. Also, we have two country pubs serving good food and ales just 5 minutes walk from the farm and we are happy to provide a taxi service if required.

The dining room overlooks the garden and down to Halwell. This is where we serve a good farmhouse breakfast using fresh eggs from our farm hens plus other produce when possible.

The whole house is clean, warm, comfortable & friendly, having double rooms and a twin bedded room, all with en-suite bathrooms, tea tray, TV/DVD and wireless broadband.

If you stay 6 nights or more, you are welcome to one free evening meal during your stay with us, where you will be served a three course meal using as many ingredients as possible from the farm. One snag you'll have to bring your own wine!!

Stanborough Farm is ideally placed for those guests wishing to use the public transport network (or choosing to leave the car behind during their trip!). There is an excellent train service from Paddington to Totnes. A bus service runs from Totnes to Kingsbridge with a bus stop at Halwell half way (Stanborough Farm is just a 10-15 minute walk from Halwell bus stop). The ~Bus Stop at Halwell runs a regular service to Totnes, Kingsbridge & Dartmouth.
